Aynsley Vogel

Head of Creative - Factual

Before working in independent production Aynsley was at the CBC, starting as a researcher for CBC Television and finishing her days as a producer for CBC Radio. Aynsley is also the author of Vancouver, A History in Photographs. As Director of Development Aynsley works closely with outside producers and the rest of the creative team at Paperny Films in order to generate documentary one-offs and series.

Director of Development

Erin joined Paperny Films in 2008 to head up the new scripted division of the company. Today as Director of the Development she overseas all development at Paperny including scripted series, alternative programming including docu series, reality and lifestyle. As the former Director of Development at Infinity Features, Erin managed a growing slate of projects including Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus and Charles Smith's The Stone of Destiny. Her dramatic production credits prior to Infinity include series Terminal City and The Collector and feature and television movies The Cleaner, The Butterfly Effect 2, and Just Friends. Erin is a graduate of Norman Jewison's Canadian Film Centre.

Stacey Landers

Stacey Landers

Development Manager

Before joining the development team, Stacey worked as a producer in both the factual and scripted worlds on projects ranging from the CBC’s Steven and Chris, Slice Network’s Superstar Hair Challenge, W Network’s The Smart Woman Survival Guide and Paperny’s own, Chop Shop. Bringing with her a production, casting and writing background, Stacey is happy to have found a home where she can be present at the genesis of a show and hopes to help foster many fabulous series that challenge as much as they entertain. Stacey graduated from the University of British Columbia with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and from the University of Toronto with a Master of Arts in Drama. .

Liam Cripps

Liam Cripps

Development Coordinator

Prior to joining Paperny Films, Liam worked as a visual effects coordinator on Brightlight Pictures' "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale" and as a producer at VFX studio Tinderbox. More recently he was an Assistant Director on the second season of Paperny Films' "The Week the Women Went". Since graduating with honours from BCIT's Television Production program, Liam has also been developing a number of his own projects, including a feature film and a TV series. Liam is ecstatic about joining the development team at Paperny and working on great new shows (though so far he keeps pitching us "Master Tobogganer", "the American Idol of recreational snow sports").
