Natasha Maurer
Front Office Manager
Natasha joined the team at Paperny Films after graduating from BCIT’s Television program in 2008. Before moving up to the front desk, she worked as the office PA. While running the day to day office operations, she is also coordinating Paperny’s latest documentary on singer/songwriter Ron Sexsmith. Natasha loves the excitement that working in television brings! On her free time she likes to watch movies, and hang out with friends.

Rachel Coe
Assistant Office Manager
Rachel began working with Paperny as an intern and is now the Assistant Office Manager. Currently a BFA Film Production major at UBC with a focus on producing and post-production, Rachel also has experience in film programming and exhibition through her time as Chairperson and Programming President of the UBC Film Society. During her very brief moments of free time, Rachel enjoys watching movies with her boyfriend and baking.

Christa Lakowski
Publicity Assistant

In June 2000, Christa became Paperny Films third employee and spent her first day on the job moving the company out of a home office into their first commercial space. Both she and PFI have come a long way since and as the company grew, Christa's role changed from production coordinator, to clearance supervisor, to researcher and associate producer. Over the 8 years, Christa eventually settled on a spot in the publicity department where she works part-time. The rest of her days are filled with making music, baked goods and knitwear.
