Lisa Nault

Lisa Nault

Producer, Production Manager

Lisa (L-No) Nault hails from Ottawa Ontario, where she cultivated a strange and wonderful fascination with politics, community television programming and the evening newscast. She now fulfills these passions with a career in documentary television production.

During Lisa’s climb from Production Assistant to Producer at Paperny Films, she’s worked on over fifty hours of television. Her most recent credits include Producer of the fifth season of the Showcase Television hit series, Kink, and The Blonde Mystique, a one-off documentary for W Network. Lisa is currently the Production Manager on the feature-length documentary, Confessions of an Innocent Man, for CTV and NFB, directed by David Paperny and produced by Terry McKeown.

Lisa graduated with Honors from the Broadcast Journalism program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and also has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Ottawa. But really, it’s all those years of bartending that prepared her for a kickass career in television.

Rachel Warick

Rachel Warick

Production Coordinator, Executive Assistant

Rachel joined Paperny Films in 2005 shortly after graduating with honours from BCIT's Television Production program. She earned her stripes as the front desk office guru, and is now a Production Coordinator, most recently for the documentary Homeless. She is also the Executive Assistant for Cal Shumiatcher, organizes publicity materials, manages websites and has plans to stand on the podium if ever there's a professional competition in multi-tasking.

Before coming to Paperny Films, Rachel earned a B.A. in Political Science and Women's Studies, worked with adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of support roles, and spent time in the independent publishing world as a writer and layout assistant. She continues to be motivated by her passion for issues of social justice as she moves towards her goal of becoming a documentary producer.

When she is not busy going in all directions at once, she can be found at the beach or in a living room fort pretending she is still a three-year-old with her niece. Oh, and watching television – do what you love!
