On Wings and Dreams: The Men Who Built Canada

For almost twenty years, Grant McConachie and Gordon McGregor fought each other for control of the skies over Canada. Both brilliant and distinguished pilots, these two men built the two airlines that would compete head to head for Canada's share of the aviation industry: Canadian Pacific Air Lines and Trans-Canada Air Lines - which became Air Canada. They were two separate air empires in a country that only had room for one.
