Accolades For Eat St.

Eat St. continues to tantalize the taste buds and create a lasting impression, or should we say food addiction, with viewers.  We are pleased to share that is being recognized in both the TV and digital world, with nominations to two notable awards!

The Taste Awards, also known as The Tasty Awards, is the premier broadcast awards show to honour the year’s best achievements in food, fashion and home style programs on television, in film, online, and on radio.  Eat St. has been nominated for “Best Food Travel Series: Television.”   The awards will take place on January 12, 2012 at a Hollywood red carpet event. 

The Eat St. App, created with Invoke Media and Emily Carr University’s SIM Centre, has made ‘The List,’ a definitive index of Canada’s digital elite, and in doing so has been nominated for the DIGI Award for “Best In Location Based Services.”  This is quite an honour as these awards recognize and showcase remarkable digital media projects that are putting Canada at the forefront of the international mediascape.  The awards will be announced and celebrated on December 6, 2011. 

Congratulations to the Paperny Entertainment team, Eat St. cast and crew, Invoke Media and Emily Carr University’s SIM Centre for making waves and for being recognized among the best.  That’s what happens when your show is a lip-smacking celebration of North America’s tastiest, messiest, and most irresistible street food!  

Eat St. can be viewed on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on the Cooking Channel in the US and Fridays at 9 pm ET/PT on Food Network Canada.
