Paperny Films is pleased to announce that it has won four 2009 Leo Awards for their hit HGTV series “The Stagers” Season One. The Leo Awards were established in 1998 to celebrate excellence in British Columbia film and television. Paperny Films received an impressive total of 11 nominations this year across various genres. “The Stagers” Season Two currently airs on HGTV Canada and HGTV US.

Each episode of “The Stagers” follows either DEKORA stager Matthew Finlason or mother-daughter duo Maureen Powers and Bridget Savereux as they work with sellers to makeover and maximize their spaces all the while keeping their projects on time and under budget in five days or less. From practical tricks on how to enhance your home’s curb appeal to the building tension between stagers and assistants when the pressure is on, each episode is a lesson in transforming a house from dated to designer. A rotating cast of co-stagers and assistant stagers help each main stager achieve their vision.
